STEM
In the last several years, university libraries have seen an increased need to support STEM disciplines. To ensure you and your students and faculty have the best information available, we are partnering with industry leading publishers Springer and Elsevier to bring their top-quality STEM content to the other top-quality materials already available on the GVRL platform. As thousands of new titles are added to serve specific and in-demand areas of study like Cyber Security and Protean Sciences, we’re working to expand our partnerships with other publishers as well.
New Collections
Ensuring you are selecting the most recent and relevant titles for a specific need at your library should not be, well, rocket science! We have restructured how titles can be purchased on GVRL, making it easier than ever to acquire what you need with confidence. Adding to the current purchasing options (including single title purchase and UDA), titles have been organized into collections of the 46 most asked about, used, and sought after disciplines. Beyond Reference
Reference, in just about every sense of the word, has changed. The way students work, how they access materials, and the types of materials they need for study/research/classwork/homework/everything is different. Accordingly, Gale is going to be different, and GVRL is going to be different. In addition to both proprietary and 3rd party monographs, we’ll be adding multimedia content. We’ll also be changing what we call and how we talk about some of our products, making their benefits to your users clearer and the products themselves easier to remember/find later.

We’re very excited about what’s happening at Gale, and we hope you are too. This is our 60th year – the diamond anniversary. It’s amazing to think of all we’ve done together, and all we have yet to accomplish.
