My mom went back to school when I was little to get an AA in Library Tech. That little degree made a world of difference for our family. Not only did she find a career she was suited for and could help support us, my frequent trips to the library with her as she got her degree and as she went back to work led me to a lifetime love of reading and eventually my own MLS.
