If you haven’t seen the latest School Library Journal, you missed Shonda Brisco’s ranking of the ten resources that every school library should have. Gale was pleased to discover that our very own Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center made the cut. “Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center has definitely morphed into a vibrant, interactive database. If you’re a former subscriber but haven’t seen it lately, you should take another look.” What Shonda is refering to is the new interface, the thousands of new articles, the expanding multimedia vault and the new ability to download any article into an audio mp3 file. If you are a lover of the print Opposing Viewpoints series, or simply just have not had a chance to see this database, we encourage you to take a test drive for thirty days. It will transform how your students complete their research papers or prepare for debates.
