Lesson Plan 1- Reparations for Slavery
Objective: Students will conduct research and analyze the issue of reparations for slavery. Students will express their opinion via debate, speech or persuasive essay.
Lesson Plan 2- The Emancipation Proclamation
Objective: Students will explore the document and examine its strengths and weaknesses. Students will demonstrate their findings via creative projects.
