Are you an expert in your field? Do you have an experience that would be helpful to share? Would you like to share how you utilize your resources to revolutionize the library? If so, we’d love for you to write a guest blog post.

By writing a guest blog post, you will not only be helping out your colleagues, but you will also gain prestige as a thought leader in the field. The Gale Blog reaches a variety of faculty and librarians from Academic, Consortia, Public, Special, and School libraries. We’re looking to spread useful knowledge and pass helpful information to help create a better network of libraries and build stronger bridges to the populations they serve.

Are you ready to share your thoughts, ideas, or experiences? Submit a Word document containing answers to the questions below and the content of your blog post. We’ve provided some basic guidelines to help you get started.

Questions for Guest Bloggers

  1. Are you offering this article exclusively to our blog, or will it be posted elsewhere? If elsewhere, please include a link.
  2. To which channel should we assign your article:  Academic, Schools, or Public?
  3. Are you submitting images with your post? If so, please confirm you have the rights to these images.

Guest Post Guidelines

  • Please ensure that your article is between 400 and 1,200 words.
  • Do not submit articles that are commercial or aim to sell/ promote.
  • Include a 30-35 word bio and an author photo.
  • Provide your name, email, and any other relevant contact info, so that we can notify you if your post is selected for our blog.
  • Provide your handles or any social media accounts through which you intend to promote your post.
