As public awareness and academic interests expand to include LGBTQ issues, libraries and researchers are finding an alarming lack of resources available to support their studies. Gale’s new Archives of Sexuality & Gender, the largest collection of resources available to support the study of gender and sexuality, was introduced earlier this year to address a dearth of information on sexuality. This rich archive helps scholars and others make new connections in LGBTQ history and activism, cultural studies, psychology, health, political science, policy studies, and other related areas of research.
Later today, you’ll notice we’ve made a few updates to Gale Artemis: Primary Sources and the resources it contains. These updates should overall create a smoother experience with greater clarity for all users.
We’ve talked a lot about how Gale Artemis: Literary Sources can help your students take their research to new levels. Topic Finder is often highlighted as a major reason for this type of success (in addition to the ability to cross-search, obviously).
Did you hear the news? Gale Artemis: Literary Sources is taking another step towards helping you get the literary information you need when you need it with the additions of Something About the Author and Dictionary of Literary Biography! If you have these series, you’ll now be able to cross-search with other incredible literary sources like Twayne’s Authors Online, Scribner Writers Online, Literature Criticism Online, and more.
