The goal of National Immunization Awareness month is to increase the awareness about immunizations across the lifespan, from infants to the elderly. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provides immunization information such as:
• the importance of immunizations
• immunization schedules for children, adolescents, adults and seniors
• parents’ guide to childhood immunizations
