Announcing the new U.S. Declassified Documents Online!

As a purchaser of Declassified Documents Reference System, your library knows the value of offering this behind-the-scenes information from the U.S. government’s executive branch. The content is incomparable to anything else available; you tell us that all the time.
But the interface…

An updated experience has been added to your resource. When beginning a session in Declassified Documents Reference System, users will see a banner at the top of the screen allowing them to try a new experience—U.S. Declassified Documents Online.

U.S. Declassified Documents Online offers improved search functionality and research tools that your students and faculty have come to expect from Gale, including:

  • Cross-search with your other Gale Primary Source collections
  • Filter search results by declassified date, classification level, publication year, and more
  • Analyze results using built-in Term Frequency and Term Clusters tools
  • Create and add metadata with user-generated tags and annotations

On July 7, 2016 the U.S. Declassified Documents Online experience will replace Declassified Documents Reference System. When switched over, we encourage you to update your catalog and URL as soon as possible.
