A Place to Concentrate When I Need to Work

The only private club my family has ever joined is an invitation only private library. From an early age through present day adulthood, education and a passion for reading has been passed down through the generations. As a kid, my parents would regularly take me to the library to read or to take out books. When I got older they would drop me off to study with friends and when I was able to drive, I would take myself there to study in high school. In college, I would go to the library when I needed a quiet place to read and study, away from the distractions of dorm life. As an adult I loved going to the athenaeum with my father to work, to talk to the librarians or to sit and catch up with each other. Our love of reading was one of our tightest bonds!NEW BALANCE
