We’ve enhanced our customer reporting experience adding a new reports dashboard providing new visualizations, as well as modifications to support upcoming COUNTER 5 reporting.

Gale Usage Dashboard

This new dashboard provides you with an easy and fast way to track usage trends, compare tabular data, and gain deeper insight into how your users are using your Gale resources. In addition, many of the 3rd party database usage reports can be run on demand through the dashboard.

Highlights include:

  • Run reports on demand
  • Gale standard/proprietary reports
  • Location detail reports
  • Database and book reports
  • New visualizations of output data
  • Mobile responsive
  • Sortable tabular data

Login with your Gale Admin credentials to try it >>

The Gale Usage Dashboard is a complementary reporting tool to the current Gale Reports Portal and is not a replacement.

Gale Usage Reports Portal

You’ll also notice that your current Gale Usage Reports Portal available through Gale Admin will feature a new homepage and navigation in anticipation of new COUNTER 5 reports coming in 2019.

The change will take effect November 30, 2018. This is your same reports portal, providing fast, flexible access to Gale standard and COUNTER usage reports, including the ability to save and schedule recurring reports.

Key reporting features carry over:

  • Run reports on-demand
  • Current COUNTER reports and Gale proprietary/standard reports
  • Local folder for scheduling/saving reports
  • Database and title (book, journal) reports
  • Login through Gale Admin

Brief Scheduled Downtime on Friday, November 30, from approximately 4:30pm EST to 10:00 PM EST.
The Gale Usage Reports Portal will be unavailable as we implement these updates. Please contact our Customer Success Team if you should have any further questions. Register for a training webinar coming soon to get a deeper dive on the Gale Usage Dashboard and Gale Usage Reports PortalAir Max
