Making Childhood Memories at the library

Many of my memories from my own childhood are from visits at our local library. After all, it was a convenient and easy place for my mom to take us since it was right around the block from my house. I remember how excited I was to enter the children’s section and to pick out new Curious George and Amelia Bedelia books. Boy, was I excited to read them with my mom as soon as we got home!

I now take my own children to the library to experience these same memories. We often visit to pick out books or DVDs and my 4-year-old asks when we can go back! Nowadays, there is so much more to explore at our library. Over the years and with the changes in technology, there are so many areas for us to ‘check out’ when we are there. My kids love playing with the educational programs loaded on the computers in the children’s section and I like to pick up books on tape (since I rarely have time to sit down and read). We also enjoy attending various activities hosted by the library. We’ve attended a children’s carnival as well as an art project session or two. A few weeks ago we even attended a session with real life exotic birds! As a parent, the library is a no-brainer when it comes to entertainment and learning! (And best of all– for those families on a budget– its FREE!) Thank you to the Novi Public Library for creating such a fun and innovative place for my family!2020 Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Sail Obsidian University Blue 555088-140 – Buy Best Price Adidas&Nike Sport Sneakers
