The library has always been my happy place. As a child I thought the number of books in the library was infinite. I grew up in a small rural town, so in high school the library was my travel agent! As a college student I worked in a campus library and I loved every task (including filing in the card catalog). Now as an adult I’m energized every time I visit my local library – it’s full of activity and patrons of all age groups. Not only do I feel connected to my community when I’m there, but I’m also excited by the integration and evolution of technology. Over the past few years my library has made many changes that enrich the overall patron experience and support the various ways that people want to consume information.
