Ideation
Aspiring founders need frameworks that help them vet their nonprofit ideas. The new Mission Canvas prompts users to identify key resources, activities, and partners; clarify their mission; learn about their audience; establish measures for success; and explore budget considerations.
Break-Even Analysis
Social entrepreneurs can now indicate they are providing goods and services gratis. They can also now account for different types of capital, such as donations and grants. A Cash-on-Hand calculation has been added to the break-even report to improve founders’ ability to assess their organization’s financial viability.
Bylaws
Social entrepreneurs can draft the structure their nonprofit with the new bylaws template, which includes sections on purpose, membership, the board of directors, meetings, conflicts of interest, and more.
Nonprofit Pitch Deck
Appealing to donors is different from pitching to for-profit investors. The nonprofit pitch deck walks users through the process of creating a compelling, socially-minded pitch.
Lean Strategic Plan
Founders that wish to assemble important components of a strategic plan can do so through the lean template. The new worksheet covers mission, landscape and trends, organizational needs, sustainability, and staffing.
