I adore the library. I have loved books my whole life and to work at a library is pure bliss. I have passed on this love of reading to my kiddos, but as a family, we have other loves. Geocaching is one of them. I have always known that the library is more then just books. It’s a community. I love proving this to my family and others – on a recent school break, I brought my kiddos and nieces to find the library geocache. They couldn’t believe there would be one in the library, but they followed the clues and found it. A book filled with ‘tangible treasures’. They were so excited showing what they found to staff and patrons alike.
Libraries are an integral part of any community. They are a wealth of information, knowledge, activities. A place to come together for meetings, for fun, for learning. Libraries rock.
Yes, They do ROCK!!
