I can still close my eyes and remember the special smell of my local public library. As a young child of 4, Mom took me to Story Hour where we sat on the floor around a reader of some colorful, intriguing childhood tale. My comfort, joy and excitement to go there each week and share a book experience has endured to this day. As the library has been re-used for various county offices, I’ve not ventured there for years. Recently my 87-year-old uncle took me over for a brief walk-through as he’s also a book-lover. The moment I walked in the door, I could smell the richness of what seems to be the wisdom and unlimited worlds represented in those pages…between those covers and on those stately and heart-warming oak shelves. What a gift that keeps on giving as I became a Life-long Book Lover in the library.Air Jordan
