Exciting updates have been made to Gale Presents: Peterson’s Test and Career Prep, providing libraries with enhanced tools to support students and professionals in achieving their educational and career objectives.
New Test Added:
Classic Learning Test (CLT): This online college entrance exam, designed for 11th and 12th graders, serves as an alternative to the SAT® and ACT®. Accepted by over 250 colleges across the U.S., the CLT® emphasizes foundational critical thinking skills and offers a two-hour testing experience that can be taken from home.
CLT in Florida: As of September 2023, the CLT is recognized by all public universities in Florida. The state funds all school districts to administer the CLT to 11th graders. Students can use CLT scores to meet graduation requirements, earn dual credit, and qualify for scholarships, including the Florida Bright Futures Florida Academic Scholarship (FAS) and the Florida Medallion Scholarship (FMS).
