Product Update: Access My Library Mobile App

Gale’s Access My Library (AML) mobile app will no longer be available starting in August.

After a close review of usage data, we’ve decided to end service for AML on August 22, 2025, to eliminate redundancies in resource access points.

All Gale resources are mobile responsive, meaning any user can access Gale products across various devices without the need to download an app.

All core features of the AML app will still be available through your library’s Gale Product Menu on Gale Pages and within individual resources:

  • Within Gale Pages: Search and browse all your Gale resources.
  • Within Resource: Download articles and book chapters to read while offline. 
  • Within Resource: Translate articles into another language.

If your patrons and learners prefer the app experience, there are alternatives to make access quick and convenient on a mobile device. Users can create a shortcut to their library’s Gale Product Menu on the home screen of any device if they prefer to access resources this way.
