There is more exciting news for our fans of Gale’s In Context suite. Recent enhancements rolled-out this week make it even easier for students and teachers to quickly access, use, and share content for homework and class assignments. Take a look at what’s new:
Citation Export to Google Drive – Students now have the ability to export content into Google Drive and Docs from the Citation Tools. Once the Citation Tools window is open, a Google export button is visible enabling users to easily export their information.
Hotspotter Tool – This new tool helps students make better connections from topic to topic. On the homepage, images have “hotspots” that when scrolled-over show additional content/details associated with that particular image. The hotpotter tool is currently available for featured images in Gale’s Science In Context and Biography In Context databases.
Improved Search Capabilities – An updated search algorithm provides students with even stronger periodical results that are the most relevant and current appearing in the top three listings of each category.

New Media Rich Content – Content is now presented in new forrmats such as infographics and video for easy viewing and to meet the different learning styles of students.
Mobile Responsive Maps – An updated map tool found in Opposing Viewpoints, Science, and Student Resources In Context is now mobile responsive providing stronger visual callouts for the user when accessing maps on their mobile devices. |
