Beginning September 28, users will find a new interface and a wide array of enhancements in Health & Wellness Resource Center. The new homepage will feature four major topic portals making it easy for users to search for the information they need. Additionally, there will be seventy-five portals overall, with new portals regularly added.

With this new release, Health & Wellness Resource Center will include 50 revised entries from Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine on popular topics. This rich digital resource offers access to thousands of full-text medical journals, periodicals, reference works, multimedia and more, covering a full range of health-related issues, from current disease and disorders to in-depth coverage of alternative medicine. Also, to address the need for access to authoritative medical content for Spanish speaking patrons, the resource offers a search limiter by Spanish content.

Integration with G Suite for Education Tools including Gmail, Classroom, Drive, Docs, and Microsoft Office 365 online tools such as OneDrive have been added so users can easily save, share, and download articles.
Mobile-optimized display Offers improved user experience on all devices.
Highlights and Notes Select and annotate important text to view, print, or export.
Improved translation Content can be translated in 40 languages and platform translation in 34 languages.
ReadSpeaker text-to-speech technology Users can hear content read out loud “live” and audio files can be downloaded and saved onto any mobile device.
Citation tools Users can generate APA, MLA, and Chicago Style citations in the most recent format.
