When I was in elementary school, I was a very shy little girl. The school librarian took notice of me and allowed me to assist her in the library every day. I would go there while other kids went to recess and I would help her shelve books, work at the check out desk, teach groups of younger students how to cite books, and set up the tables for special events. The work I did with her encouraged me and gave me a sense of purpose. I knew then I wanted to become a librarian and help others, and now I’m graduating from college and about to apply for an MLS program.Air Jordan 1
